The Best Safelists for July 2013

Welcome to July.

A few notable launches from last month…

Darren Olander and Matt Koshko raised the bar again with the release of Marketing Checkpoint. Marketing Checkpoint is more than just another mailer. It’s a full fledged social networking site that rewards activity with the ability to send your email ads to other members. In addition to the mailer Marketing Checkpoint allows members to post articles and participate in conversations about safelist and other forms of marketing. The Marketing Checkpoint mailer has been open for 2 weeks and so far has been showing a lot of promise.

The other big launch was from Rina Baxter who released Golden Chest Mailer. The site is run on the LFMVM script and has been showing a lot of activity. Worth checking out if you are looking for a new place to send your ads.

And now the stats.

Here’s how it works. Every day I submit ads to 40+ safelists and viral list builders promoting my own safelist Mister Safelist. I am promoting a variety of splash pages and have started mixing up my emails with songs parodies just for fun. I spend time every day reading emails for credits and I am upgraded at most of the sites I use which allows me to send my ads more often and to more people. Your results may vary.

Relatively slow month. I’m in the process of weeding out sites that have been producing poor results and replacing them with some new mailers that I haven’t tried.

The Best Safelists for April 2013

Hello and welcome to April!

I know. I’m late. I had been under the weather for the past few days but now I am back and ready to share my monthly safelist and viral list builder stats to show which mailers are currently bringing me the best results.

But first, the news…

Wait, there is no news! After all of the big launches in February it seems that March was a pretty quiet month.  I guess once in awhile it’s nice to simply focus on the sites we have now instead of constantly pushing the next big launch.

So let’s get to the stats.

Here’s how it works. Every day I submit my ads to 40+ safelists and viral list builders (or to as many as I can submit to on any given day). I am promoting a series of splash pages that promote my own Mister Safelist website.  Note, you won’t see Mister Safelist in the stats below… but I hear it’s still worth joining.  I do have upgraded memberships at most of the safelists and viral list builders that I use which usually allows me to send my ads to more people and more often.  I also spend time every day reading emails to earn enough credits to send my ads to the maximum number of people.  Your results may vary.

European Safelist 1180 16.00% 5 0.42%

Total sign-ups (including those not shown here): 236

Despite the massive launch of List Nerds somehow Adchiever manages to hang on to the #1 spot.  Go Darren!  Puffin Mailer was the other big launch from February and manages to hold it’s own quite nicely as well.

The Best Safelists for March 2013

It’s March!

It’s been a little bit quiet in the safelist/vlb community over the last few months but not any more.  There were quite a few big launches last month that promise to bring in a lot of new members for us to advertise to.

Clearly the biggest launch last month was List Nerds from the guys at TimTech.  If you don’t know who TimTech is you’ve probably never surfed a traffic exchange.  These guys are arguably the leaders of the TE industry and are responsible for sites like trck.me, AdKreator, Click Track Profit, I Love Hits, StartXchange, and Sweeva (to name a few).  After years of telling them how good safelists and viral list builders are they have finally taken the plunge by launching their own viral list builder.  It’s awesome!  List Nerds was built from the ground up and includes a lot of new features not seen in any other mailers.  The best part about List Nerds is that it’s not a “launch it and forget it” site.  TimTech has the resources to bring in thousands of new members and promises to be active for many years to come.  If you haven’t done it yet definitely join List Nerds and start building your downline now.

Some of the other big launches last month were Puffin Mailer from Dan Moses (4x4Hits), 100PercentMailer from Matthew Graves (TopTierMailer), and Fugitive Traffic Mailer from Jeff Parker (Traffic Fugitive).  All of these mailers are presented by very experienced owners and offer unique twists to make them stand out.  They are all worth joining if for any other reason than to take advantage of all of their recent activity.

Enough about those guys.  Let’s get to my stats…

Here’s how it works.  I am active in 40+ safelists and viral list builders.  I send my ads every day (or as often as they will let me) which promote my own Mister Safelist splash pages.  I am upgraded in most of these sites and spend time every day reading enough emails which allow me to send my ads to the most number of people.  Your results my vary.

Mister Safelist is not included here because it’s my own site and it wouldn’t make sense for me to promote it there.

List Nerds didn’t make the cut because it just launched a few days ago.  When you consider that the 1 email I sent this week got me 3 new sign-ups it’s safe to say that List Nerds should be near the top of the list next month.

Remember this list is the result of my own marketing efforts and is provided only to show what is currently working best for me.  What works best for you might be something entirely different.  The only way to find out which sites work best for you is to track your own results.  You can get the same link tracker that I use from trck.me.

The Best Safelists for August 2012

Welcome back!

It’s August and that means it is once again time to whip out my link tracker stats and show you which safelists and viral list builders have been getting me the best results.

The big news from last month… Bweeble!

If you haven’t joined Bweeble yet you are missing out on some great traffic!  Bweeble was created by Jon Nastor and Bill Maloney who are also the guys behind List Bonus which has consistently been one of my top ranked viral list builders for the past year.  Even though Bweeble just launched on July 19th it has already rocketed to the top of my safelist rankings!  If you are looking for great results Bweeble is definitely the place to be advertising right now.  Make sure you grab the 1-year upgrade offer too if you see it.

In other news…

The deluge of new LFMVM launches has finally slowed down.  Not surprising that very few of these new viral list builders ranked well for me this month.  The exception is William Brant’s Max Mailer Pro.  William was the first to remove the restriction of only being able to view one page at a time and has now added something brand new to the site called “QuotaPoints”.  I still don’t fully understand how these work but ever since this new feature was added my results from Max Mailer Pro have started going way up.

Ok, ready for some stats?

Here’s how it works.  Every day I submit my ads to 30-40 different safelists and viral list builders.  I am promoting several lead capture pages that give away a free copy of my ebook Safelist Marketing Tactics. I use a free link tracking service to tell me how many hits I receive from each safelist and viral list builder as well as how many new subscribers I received.  I have upgraded memberships at most of these sites which usually allow me to send my ads more often and to more people.  I also spend time every day reading emails to give me enough credits to send my ads to as many people as possible as often as possible.  Your results may vary.

Here are my top safelist and viral list builder stats from last month.

I’ll say it again… Bweeble!  Those results are only from the last 2 weeks!  I can’t wait to see what my Bweeble results will be next month after a full month of testing.

That’s all for this month.  Keep in mind that my stats are the result of my own marketing efforts.  I provide these stats to show you what is currently working best for me.  Your results may be completely different than my own but you will never know unless you are tracking your ads.  You can the same link tracker that I use for free TE Toolbox.

The Best Safelists for August 2011

Hello!

Welcome to my August 2011 report of the current best safelists and viral list builders.

If this is your first time here you are in for a treat.  Every month I share my personal marketing stats from all of the safelists and viral list builders I used during the previous month.  This should help you get a better idea of what safelists and viral list builders are producing the best results going into the new month.  I also like to share any news or announcements of big launches that recently happened.

Last month there were no new safelists or viral list builder launches to report.  Sorry.

There was a new feature released at State of the Art Mailer worth mentioning called “Time Bonus Ads”.  I wrote about this in a previous post that you can find here.  To be honest I totally forgot all about this new feature since I last wrote about it… but that’s how it works!  You earn credits to show your banner ads across their network just doing the stuff you are already doing.  Since I last checked it I have had my banner shown 23,198 times and had 30 click-thrus to my sites.  Not bad for not having to do any extra work.

Ok, time for the stats…

Here’s how it works.  I promote several squeeze pages for my ebook Safelist Marketing Tactics on all of the top safelists and viral list builders.  I then track how many hits I received from each mailer and how many new subscribers they brought to my list.  I do have have upgraded memberships on most of these mailers which allow to me send my ads more often.  I also spend time every day clicking email ads for credits that allow me to send my emails to as many members as I can as often as I can.  This list is only intended as a guideline and your results my vary.

Not too much has changed from last month.   The only exception is Instant List Empire which has made a pretty big jump from last month.  I like this mailer because as an upgraded member I only receive maybe one or two emails a day.  That makes earning extra credits a little tricky but it also means every time I send out an ad it gets noticed.

That’s it!  Don’t forget that these are my own personal tracking stats from promoting my own pages.  Your results may vary but you will never know unless you are tracking your own ads.  You can get the same tracking service I use for free from TE Toolbox.

Now get out there and start sending your ads!
