The Best Safelists for November 2012

Hello and welcome to November!

This is the place to find out what is going on in the world of safelists and viral list builders and see which sites are bringing me the best results.

The big news last month was the relaunch of List Joe.

List Joe was the biggest and baddest viral list builders for many years.  Earlier this year List Joe suffered a major database loss and had to be shut down.  Now it’s back with a brand new design and all new features.  So far my results with the new List Joe have been great.  You can view my stats below.  If you are not a member of the new List Joe yet please sign-up now.

That’s about it for news.  Let’s get to the stats…

Here’s how it works.  Every day I promote a series of lead capture pages to 30-40 different safelists and viral list builders.  My lead capture pages promote my ebook Safelist Marketing Tactics.  I use a free link tracking service (TE Toolbox) to keep track of which safelists and viral list builders are bringing me the most sign-ups.  I then share those stats here on my blog every month.

Please keep in mind that these stats are the results of my own marketing efforts.  I have upgraded memberships on most safelists and viral list builders which usually allow me to send my ads more often and to more people.  Your results may vary.

Next month I am going to switch things up and start promoting my own safelist (Mister Safelist) instead of my ebook.  We’ll see if that brings my stats up or knocks them back down.

Remember the stats I have listed above are provided to show which safelists and viral list builders are currently working best for me.  What works best for you might be something entirely different.  The only way to find out what works best for you is to track your own ads.  You can get the same link tracker that I use to track my ads from TE Toolbox.

The Best Safelists for October 2012

It’s October!

The weather is finally cooling down and people are starting to get back to work.  There’s lots of exciting stuff going on in the safelist and viral list building world so let’s jump right into it.

First, the new site launches.

Let’s see.. were there any new launches last month… Hmm…

Well, there was a little site I launched called… Mister Safelist!

It’s true.  After more than 3 years of branding myself as “the safelist guy” I thought it was time to finally throw my hat into the ring and release the safelist that I always wanted to use.  Despite a few technical hiccups at launch so far the response has been fantastic!  In less than 2 weeks we have 1,147 active members.  There is also a big referral contest going on for the next two weeks where I am giving away lots of cash and prizes.  If you would like to join we would love to have you as a member of Mister Safelist.

There was also another big launch from the creator of Top Tier Mailer called Social Message Connect.  The site is a little bit different from your regular mailer.  It’s more like Facebook where you spend your credits to post your ads in a message feed.  I can’t really comment too much on this one yet because the feed part hasn’t opened yet (it’s opening this week).  I will say that I bought the 1-year upgrade offer without even trying the site because I know Matthew Graves and I know he only releases quality stuff.  If you haven’t joined yet Social Message Connect is well worth checking out.

Expect to see a lot of emails tomorrow about a major launch/relaunch from the Bweeble/List Bonus guys.  This one is going to be big!

Now let’s get to the stats…

Don’t expect to see my Mister Safelist ranked here any time soon.  My safelist stats are based on promoting lead capture pages for my ebook Safelist Marketing Tactics to 30-40 safelists and viral list builders every day.  Since I give away copies of my book to everyone who joins Mister Safelist I probably wouldn’t get a lot of sign-ups promoting it there.

Keep in mind that the results below are a result of my own marketing efforts.  I have upgraded memberships at most of these sites which allow me to mail more often and reach more members.  The stats are only meant as a guide to show you what is currently working best for me.  Your results my vary.

Total September sign-ups from all safelists and viral list builders (including those not listed here): 185

A good month with solid numbers from all of the top sites.  Congrats to Viral Nugget for finally stealing the top site away from Bweeble.  In fact, Darren also owns Adchiever so he has really put the one-two punch on my stats this month.  Great job!  I’m also noticing that List Bonus and Bweeble are by the same owners too.  I guess that says a lot about the quality of the owner going a long way towards creating a quality website.

That’s all for this month.  Remember to watch your email tomorrow for the big launch/relaunch that’s happening.  And don’t forget to join Mister Safelist!  I’ve got so many big things planned for this site that it’s not even funny.  Remember, the stats above are my own stats.  What works best for me might be something completely different from what works best for you.  The only way you will ever know is if you are tracking your own results!  You can get the same link tracker I use for free from TE Toolbox.

The Best Safelists for September 2012

Is it September already?

August really seemed to fly by.  Now it’s time to get busy and see what safelists and viral list builders have been giving me the best results lately.

The big news from last month was the re-launch of Darren Olander‘s viral list builder and advertising tool Viral Nugget.  I don’t have a full month of stats to share yet but so far the results have been very good.  Darren is well known for creating powerful advertising sites and it looks like Viral Nugget will be no exception.

I’ve been dropping mailers left and right that use the LFMVM script.  The thrill is gone!  A month of clicking every day for 1 or 2 sign-ups just isn’t worth my time.  The major exception is Max Mailer Pro from William Brant.  William did some major revisions to the standard script and the results speak for themselves.  This should be a lesson for anyone thinking about launching a cookie cutter website to spend some time and money to make you site as good as it can be.

The final thing I want to say before getting to the stats is this… Bweeble!  You’ll understand why in a minute.

If this is your first time here this is how my safelist stats work.  Every day I submit ads promoting a series of lead capture pages for my ebook Safelist Marketing Tactics.  I currently submit to 35-40 different safelists and viral list builders.  I track my ads using TE Toolbox and share the top 15 sites that brought me the most subscribers here on my blog.  I am upgraded in most of these safelists and viral list builders which often gives me the ability to send more ads to more people.  These stats are meant to serve as a guide to show what is currently working best for me.  Your results may vary.

Here we go…

Elite Safelist 2553 40.00% 7 0.27%

Total new sign-ups from all safelists and viral list builders (including those not listed here): 277

So much for the “summer slow down” theory.

Seriously… Bweeble!  I don’t know what else I can say here.  52 new subscribers in one month is just ridiculous for something I have been promoting for so long.  If you are not taking advantage of Bweeble yet you are missing out on some great traffic.   If you can afford the yearly upgrade grab it!  Offers like this don’t come around very often.

Everything else looks to be in line.  Max Mailer Pro is clearly the best of the new LFMVM sites.  The Lead Magnet seems to go up and down for me every month but is consistently one of the top ranked mailers.  List Bonus is owned by the same guys who created Bweeble so no surprise to see it is still bringing in tons of sign-ups too.

That should do it for this month.  Hopefully I will have a new launch to announce very soon.  As always keep in mind that the stats above are the results of my own marketing efforts.  What works best for you might be something entirely different.  The only way to know for sure is to track your own results.  You can get the same link tracker that I use for free at TE Toolbox.

The Best Safelists for August 2012

Welcome back!

It’s August and that means it is once again time to whip out my link tracker stats and show you which safelists and viral list builders have been getting me the best results.

The big news from last month… Bweeble!

If you haven’t joined Bweeble yet you are missing out on some great traffic!  Bweeble was created by Jon Nastor and Bill Maloney who are also the guys behind List Bonus which has consistently been one of my top ranked viral list builders for the past year.  Even though Bweeble just launched on July 19th it has already rocketed to the top of my safelist rankings!  If you are looking for great results Bweeble is definitely the place to be advertising right now.  Make sure you grab the 1-year upgrade offer too if you see it.

In other news…

The deluge of new LFMVM launches has finally slowed down.  Not surprising that very few of these new viral list builders ranked well for me this month.  The exception is William Brant’s Max Mailer Pro.  William was the first to remove the restriction of only being able to view one page at a time and has now added something brand new to the site called “QuotaPoints”.  I still don’t fully understand how these work but ever since this new feature was added my results from Max Mailer Pro have started going way up.

Ok, ready for some stats?

Here’s how it works.  Every day I submit my ads to 30-40 different safelists and viral list builders.  I am promoting several lead capture pages that give away a free copy of my ebook Safelist Marketing Tactics. I use a free link tracking service to tell me how many hits I receive from each safelist and viral list builder as well as how many new subscribers I received.  I have upgraded memberships at most of these sites which usually allow me to send my ads more often and to more people.  I also spend time every day reading emails to give me enough credits to send my ads to as many people as possible as often as possible.  Your results may vary.

Here are my top safelist and viral list builder stats from last month.

Total new sign-ups from all safelists and viral list builders (including those not listed here): 197

I’ll say it again… Bweeble!  Those results are only from the last 2 weeks!  I can’t wait to see what my Bweeble results will be next month after a full month of testing.

That’s all for this month.  Keep in mind that my stats are the result of my own marketing efforts.  I provide these stats to show you what is currently working best for me.  Your results may be completely different than my own but you will never know unless you are tracking your ads.  You can the same link tracker that I use for free TE Toolbox.

The Best Safelists for July 2012

It’s hot outside!

The USA is in the middle of a massive heat wave.  This seems like the perfect time to stay indoors and do some advertising using some of the best safelists and viral list builders.

But first I want to talk a little bit more about the new LFMVM script that is behind many of the new mailer sites that have popped up over the last 2 months.  Over a short period of time there have been at least 12 new sites launched with the LFMVM script.  The latest being Fast Cash Mailer from Mark McCulloch and Sean Supplee (which is having server problems right now but should be back up shortly).  There is even a new downline builder dedicated entirely to helping you get sign-ups in the new LFMVM sites.

Now I will rant.

There are too many new launches!  I can’t keep up with them all.  With a few minor exceptions the new LFMVM sites are almost all the same with very little customization.  Even worse is that other than a few of them my results have not been that great.  It’s probably too early to tell as many of them just launched last month.  I guess I will keep testing and try to keep up with the new launches but I already feel like the thrill is gone and I don’t imagine many of the new sites will be generating much excitement.

I think what really bugs me about many of the new LFMVM sites is the amount of work it takes to earn credits.  The new LFMVM script has taken the lead from traffic exchanges and added a “match the shape” security feature that you must click before you earn credits.  This isn’t new to the safelist world but most of the safelists that do have this feature don’t require you to wait for the timer before you can open a new site.  I realize the LFMVM sites forces you to view one site at a time to help increase conversions but I don’t think the extra effort is worth the reward.  I am currently managing over 40 safelist and viral list builder accounts.  The new LFMVM sites have dramatically increased the amount of work I need to do every day.  I would be fine with this if the credits received were worth the extra time spent but it seems the default credits earned on most of the sites is far too low to be worth the effort.

Just my thoughts.  I realize most of the new LFMVM owners are coming over from the traffic exchange world and while I appreciate all the new members they are bringing into the safelists I can’t helping wondering if they don’t quite grasp the finer nuances of how safelists work and are more interested in just owning another membership site.

Ok, that’s enough of my ranting.  Let’s get on to the stats and see how well the sites really performed.

If this is your first time here this is how it works.  Every day I promote a series of squeeze pages for my ebook Safelist Marketing Tactics to 30-40 different safelists and viral list builders.  I use a link tracking service that tells me how many hits I receive from each mailer as well as how many new subscribers I received.  I like to point out that I do have upgraded memberships on most of these sites which often allow me to send my ads to more members and more often.  I also spend time every day clicking emails for credits which allows me to send my ads to the maximum number of people as often as possible.  Your results may vary.

Also, I took a vacation at the beginning of June and didn’t send out any mailing.  Sorry.  The stats below are from June 8 – June 30.

Total June sign-ups (including mailers not shown here): 173

Pretty stellar month considering how much time I took off.

List Bonus was clearly my top performer last month with nearly double the sign-ups of the next ranked sites.  Way to go!

The only LFMVM site to make it on to the list was Max Mailer Pro which has been performing well for me.  I’ve got lots of new LFMVM sites that I joined over the past week and have just started testing.  Hopefully next month I will have a lot more data to work with and we can see just how well these new sites can compete.

That’s all for this month.  Keep in mind that these stats are the result of my own marketing efforts and your results may vary.  These stats are only provided as a guide to show you what is currently working best for me.  What works best for you might be something entirely different but you will never know unless you are tracking your ads.  You can get the same free link tracker that I use when you join TE Toolbox.
