The Best Safelists for October 2020

Happy October!

I hope you are keeping active and seeing lots of success from all of your online marketing efforts.

As usual I am still here singing the praises of safelist marketing as one of the cheapest and easiest methods to bring real targeted traffic to whatever it is you are promoting.

Every month I share the stats I obtained from my previous month of safelist advertising.  Last month I used all of my traffic to promote a lead capture page giving away a free ebook called “No More 9-5“.  The stats below reflect the number of people who saw my page and subscribed to my list.  I used about 40 different safelists throughout the month to send my ads.  While I do have upgraded memberships at most of the safelists I use I still spend a lot of time clicking credit links to send my ads to more people.  These stats were obtained using only the standard credit mailer and do not include banner ads, login ads, etc.

Please note that the stats I share here are the results of my own marketing efforts throughout the previous month for the pages I am promoting.  What works best for me might not be the same as what works best for you.  These lists are intended to be a jumping off point for you.  To find out what works best for you and what you are promoting you need to track your own ads.  I recommend using HitsConnect to handle all of your link tracking needs.

The Best Safelists for September 2020

Welcome back to the blog.

September is here and now is a good time to boost our marketing efforts and start focusing on using the best traffic sources to help build our online businesses.  It’s important to be out there every day getting our ads in front of as many people as possible as often as possible.  Safelist marketing is a great way to that.

The biggest new safelist to launch last month is a collaboration between Marty Petrizza and Greg Hickman called The Crypto Mailer.  Marty and Greg are both well established owners of some of the most popular online mailers.  That alone would make me want to join but what’s most interesting is that The Crypto Mailer is a “paid members only” mailer that only accepts crypto currency.  That means all members seeing your ads here are proven buyers who use crypto currency.  You may think that may limit your audience but almost anyone promoting online business opportunities today is leaving a lot of money on the table if they don’t at least accept bitcoin.  If you are promoting anything that can benefit from having an audience of crypto users check out The Crypto Mailer.

Let’s get to this month’s stats.

As usual I promote my ads to about 40 different safelists every month.  I do have a lot of upgraded memberships but I still spend a lot of time clicking every day to try and send my ads to as many people as possible as often as possible.  If you want to see a sample of the page I am currently promoting in safelists you can click here. The “Sign Ups” below reflect how many people have confirmed their email address after opting in to my list.  The sign-ups only come from email ads and do not include banners or login ads.

That’s all for this month.  Keep in mind that the mailers that work best for me might not be the best for everyone.  It really depends on what you are promoting and how you are promoting it.  It’s always a good idea to track your own ads to find out what traffic sources work best for you.  For a good link tracker that can handle all of your marketing links check out HitsConnect.

The Best Safelists for August 2020

Welcome to August.

I hope everyone has been having a productive summer and that your online businesses are thriving.

As someone who has been doing this Internet marketing stuff for a very long time I have collected a number of tools which I use to make my work easier and more profitable.  One tool that I recommend every marketer have is an effective link tracking tool.  Link trackers tell you exactly where your traffic is coming from and if used correctly where your sales are coming from.  This make it much easier to target your traffic and hopefully make you more money.

In June I swapped out almost all of my tracking links and started using the ones provided by HitsConnect.  It was much easier than I thought it would be and the features provided by them were on par if not better than what I had been using.  July was the first full month I used HitsConnect to track my safelist ads and the results were not what I was expecting.

In short, either the ad I am promoting is so stale it’s dead or I am doing something very wrong.  According to my autoresponder I received 39 new subscribers in July vs the 18 reported by my tracker.

I suppose there is always going to be some discrepancies.  In May my autoresponder said my ad generated 52 new subscribers vs 42 reported by my old link tracker.  It could just be that people are finding my ad from outside of the safelists but I am still not convinced everything is working right yet.  I’m going to try the same ad with a different tracker next month and then for sure I will have something new to promote in September.

These are my results from July.  I gathered these stats from the 30-40 different safelists and mailers that I use to promote my ads every month. I am currently promoting a lead capture page that I am using to build my list.  The “sign-ups” represent the number of people who have subscribed to my list and verified their email address. These stats are provided only to show what is currently working best for me and my ads. Your results my vary.

As I said, I am not sure everything is working properly.  Noticeably missing are European Safelist and State of the Art Mailer which normally generate at least a few monthly sign-ups.  Again, it’s probably just because my ad has gone stale and is no longer generating sign-ups like when I first published it.

The Best Safelists for July 2020

Happy July everybody!

Unfortunately I have no stats to share this month.

Boo!

While doing some traveling with the family last month the link tracking service that I had been using for several years went down without any warning or explanation.  Up until a few years ago it had been a great service but recently it has felt like it’s been running on autopilot with nobody behind the wheel.  That’s why I haven’t recommended it for so long.  I probably should have stopped using it a long time ago but it was easier to just keep doing what I was doing and not worry about it.  Lesson learned.

The good news is that I have managed to get 95% of my links back up and running with a new tracking service and traffic is back to flowing full throttle to all of my sites again.

I also feel very confident about now being able to recommend HitsConnect as the premiere link tracking service for anyone in our industry.

If you aren’t aware HitsConnect is created by the same guys who wrote the LFM script that most safelists and traffic exchanges run on.  It’s designed specifically for Internet marketers who do the kind of things we do and has all the bells and whistles anybody could ever need.

If you are not tracking the links in your safelist ads you are missing out on a huge piece of the puzzle.  Knowing which links convert best and where allows you to focus your advertising on what works and avoid the things that waste your time and money.

Click the banner below to explore HitsConnect for free.  When you are ready to upgrade I recommend grabbing the yearly deal which will save you a ton of money on your membership.

I just got my safelist ads back up and running again yesterday with HitsConnect so hopefully next month I will have some new stats to share with you in a brand new format.  Until then, keep up the good work!

The Best Safelists for June 2020

Welcome to June!

I know things are still crazy in the offline world but for anyone working online right now things are starting to look really good.  I haven’t crunched all of my numbers yet from last month but I will tell you that Mister Safelist paid out more money in commissions to it’s affiliates for May than it ever has before.  This is a great time to be working online and safelists are hotter than they have been in years.  If you are still not taking advantage of safelist advertising for your business now is the time to start.

Speaking of taking advantage of safelists… Did you know that Janet Legere launched a new safelist last month?  It’s called Stay at Home Mailer and it is well worth your trouble to try it out.  In case you don’t know Janet she is a bit of a legend in Internet marketing with over 16 years of experience in helping other people start at home businesses.  Her new mailer should prove to be an excellent way to tap into that pool of prospects to help build your own business.  Stay at Home Mailer is free to join but do consider one of the upgrade offers to take advantage of everything Janet has to offer.  Click the banner below to join.

I would also like to shine a spotlight this month on Rob Gehring who runs TrafficLeads2IncomeVM.  Not content to just run a great mailer last week Rob launched his brand new MSF500 (Massive Success Funnel) upgrade package on his site.  Not only does this package include a top level upgrade at TrafficLeads2IncomeVM but it also gets you access to his unique funnel system along with one-on-one coaching with Rob himself.  I know Rob is one of the hardest working guys in the business so if you are still struggling to find ways to make ends meet check out Rob’s MSF500 system.  You can access it as a member of TrafficLeads2IncomeVM which you can join through the banner below.

Ok, let’s move on to my safelist stats from last month.

Every day (or as often as I can) I submit my ads to 40+ safelists using as many credits as I can to reach as many members as I can.  I am currently promoting a lead capture page that I use to build my email list.  I do have upgraded memberships at many of these sites and still spend a lot of time reading emails to earn credits.  I don’t belong to every safelist out there but do occasionally replace inactive safelists with newer ones.  The stats below were achieved using only the credit mailers on the safelists and do not include sign-ups from banner ads or login ads.  The “signups” represent the number of people who have filled out the opt-in form on my page and verified their email address.  My own Mister Safelist does not appear on this list (I test other things there) but if it were it would probably be near the top ;)

A bit of a drop from last month.  I haven’t changed my ads at all in the last 2 months so it isn’t too surprising.  I haven’t decided yet if I am going to leave things the way they are or promote something else this month.  Either way I think it is important to remind you that you should be changing your ads as often as possible to keep things fresh.  I think we have seen from the last few months that even using fresh subjects for your emails can help improve conversions of ads you’ve been running for awhile.

As always please keep in mind that the numbers you see above are the result of my own marketing efforts.  What you promote and how you promote it will most likely make your results different from my own.  The only way to tell what sites work best for you is to track your own results.  Good luck!
