If you already have a sales and thank you page that came with the product you will need to open them in an html editor and make a few changes. On the index page there will usually be a place to add your name at the top and bottom of the page. Read the rest of the page to make sure you aren’t missing any other items you need to edit. The “thank you” page will also be setup the same way. Make sure you change the “download” link to reflect the actual location of where the product will be located on your webhost.

Protect the link to your thank you page. If people find out where your thank you page is they will be able to download the product for free. To keep the search engines from indexing your thank you page add the following meta tag to the head of your thank you page:

To add a payment button to your index page you will need to have a payment processor such as PayPal. From within PayPal go to the “Merchant Services” and click the “Buy Now Button”. Some of the options make look a little intimidating but there are only a few you will need to worry about. Start with entering the name of the product and the price you are selling it for. Choose a button style that you want to appear on your page. If your page already has a nice graphic button you can enter the location of that button.

Don’t make the button yet! You will need to tell PayPal where to send people after they have paid you. Click the “Add More Options” button and edit the “Successful Payment URL” to show the URL of your thank you page. This will let your customers have immediate access to your product as soon as they pay for it.

Create your payment button and paste into your sales page. Upload everything to your website and start sending traffic to sales page using the usual methods. An easy way to do this is to start writing articles on the topic of your product or even write a review and link it back to your sales page. The more product links you have out there the more you can make with your resell rights.
