The Best Safelists for August 2019

Welcome to August!

The dreaded “summer slow down” is supposedly in full effect but that isn’t going to stop us from getting out there every day and building our online businesses like there is no tomorrow.  Right?

Before we get to the stats I have a few bits of news to share with you.

Frank Salinas has a brand new mailer that is currently in “pre-launch” called Leads N Profits.  Frank has been in the home-based business industry since 2005 and his sites have never failed to produce fresh new leads for me.  His new site is currently in pre-launch so there are not a lot of members yet but the few test mailings I have sent have already brought me more subscribers last month than most of the already established mailers.  Definitely check out Leads N Profits when you get a chance.

The final thing I want to announce is that Click, Track, Profit is back!  Ok, CTP may not actually be a mailer but Mister Safelist can trace a lot of it’s success (and even it’s name) back to the time I spent working with Jon Olson many years ago.  The new CTP is jam packed with all new training videos that will get you started on the right track towards building a solid foundation for you to build your business on.  If you are new to online advertising or affiliate marketing CTP is my top suggestion for where to start.

And now to the stats…

Every day (or as often as I can) I submit my ads to 40+ safelists using as many credits as I can to reach as many members as I can.  I am currently promoting lead capture pages promoting my ebook Safelist Marketing Tactics.  I do have upgraded memberships at many of these sites and still spend a lot of time reading emails to earn credits.  I don’t belong to every safelist out there but do occasionally replace inactive safelists with newer ones.  The stats below were achieved using only the credit mailers on the safelists and do not include sign-ups from banner ads or login ads.  The “signups” represent the number of people who have filled out the opt-in form on my page and verified their email address.  My own Mister Safelist does not appear on this list (I test other things there) but if it were it would probably be near the top ;)

This is my second full month back to promoting lead capture pages instead of the splash pages I was promoting for Mister Safelist.  I did a bit more traveling last month where I didn’t always have Internet access but overall I think my results were decent and show that consistent safelist marketing can still be an effective way to generate leads online.

The Best Safelists for July 2019

Welcome back everybody and a big hello to all of the new subscribers.

Last month I announced that I would be changing things up by switching from promoting my Mister Safelist splash pages and going back to promoting lead capture pages for my ebook Safelist Marketing Tactics.

I receive a lot of emails from people about safelist marketing and a lot of people want to know why they don’t get the kind of response to their ads that they expected.  Here’s the deal, you’re not going to have much success promoting generic affiliate pages with giant “Buy Now!” buttons.  Those just don’t work.  You need to promote things that people actually want and most importantly you need to build your list.  Once the viewers are on your list and have gotten to know, like, and trust you then you can try telling them about what you have to offer.

The money is in the list!

I had hoped to prove that his month by comparing the results I obtained from splash pages to lead capture pages.  Unfortunately I just got home from a 12-day road trip across the country and I must admit that I didn’t spend nearly as much time submitting my ads and reading emails for credits as I would have liked.  Still, even though I only did a fraction of the work this month the improvement over last month is still obvious.

Let’s take a look at my partial stats from last month…

The Best Safelists for June 2019

Happy June!

Well, my safelist stats are down again this month so I think it’s time to switch things up again.

I’m currently promoting a variety of splash pages for my own Mister Safelist.  As an affiliate I would say my numbers are fine.  23 referrals in a month would be pretty good in any program.  But since I am trying to compare the effectiveness of different safelists I am not getting enough sign-ups at each one to really show a clear difference between them.

Starting this month I am going to go back to promoting simple squeeze pages for my book Safelist Marketing Tactics.  It’s badly in need of an update but I have always found that squeeze pages convert much better than splash pages for me so I am hoping that this will give my numbers enough of a boost this month to make my stats more useful again.

So once again here are my stats from last month.

The stats below are the top results from my marketing efforts in May.  I currently use 40-50 different mailers every day (or as often as I can) to promote those splash pages for my mailer Mister Safelist. The “Signups” below show how many people have completed the registration process after joining my site.  I do have an upgraded membership at most of the mailers which often allows me to send my ads more often to more members.  However, I do spend a lot of time every month reading emails to earn enough credits to send my ads.

Hello again!

Today is the first day of May 2019 and business has been moving along at a steady pace.  I hope everyone has been having a great year so far and has been generating lots of sales from their safelist marketing campaigns.

Just in case you missed it last month Jan Cabrera launched a new mailer called Responsive Mail Marketing and so far it has been generating a lot of activity for me.  If you haven’t checked it out yet I recommend joining for free and seeing if it is a good match for you.  It has all the best features and I believe Jan is doing a great job to keep bringing in new members for us to advertise to.

So, here’s my safelist stats from last month.

Happy April Fools!

No jokes from me this year.  I’m actually on my last day of Spring Break Vacation with my girlfriend and the last thing I want to be doing is sitting inside at my computer thinking up pranks for you.  Let’s get right to the news…

Actually, there’s quite a bit of news this month.

Yet another new mailer was launched by the Kolijn brothers.  This was is called List Compass and has all the great features you’ve come to expect from one of their sites.  These guys are really on a roll so if you like their other sites you will probably like this one too.

State of the Art Mailer is celebrating it’s 9 year anniversary this month with a 100% commission contest.  What this means is that you get to keep all of the money earned from any new purchases your referrals make until a certain goal has been reached.  They ran a similar contest last year and it was a lot of fun.  If you look back at the history in my blog you will find that State of the Art Mailer is consistently ranked as one of my best mailers so I would like to wish the guys there a very happy anniversary!

And last but not least we have a brand new mailer launching today!  This one is from Jan Cabrera who you have probably seen out there marketing with this rest of us over the years.  This is Jan’s first site and after taking the time to look everything over it appears to be a winner to me.  It’s called Responsive Mail Marketing and it is launching today at 10:00 AM EST.  If you want some awesome launch day upgrade offers I highly encourage you to check this one out.

The Best Safelists for March 2019

Happy March to you!

I feel like the year has gotten off to a slow start but I am still totally convinced that safelist advertising is one of the best free or low cost ways to promote your online opportunities in 2019.

With that being said let’s jump right into my stats from last month…

During the month of February I used my daily safelist mailings to promote splash pages for my own Mister Safelist.  My stats are generated from using only the credit mailers and do not include login ads or banners ads or anything like that.  I am upgraded at most of these sites and do spend time every day reading emails to earn credits.  I currently submit to 30-40 different safelists.  I don’t use every safelist out there and I am constantly updating that list based on my advertising results.  I do not include my own Mister Safelist here as I prefer to let other reviewers take care of that.  I provide these stats only to show what is currently working best for me.  Your results may vary.

I decided to mix things up a bit last month.  I felt like the splash pages I was promoting were getting a little stale so I swapped them out with some older ones I haven’t promoted in awhile.  While one of them seemed to flop the others did much better and resulted in an increase in the number of subscribers I received even though it was a shorter month.

Don’t forget to mix up your splash pages and keep your content fresh!

The Best Safelists for February 2019

Welcome back!

Not much news to report this month.  I’ve been busy moving so I haven’t had much time to focus on anything other than running Mister Safelist.  As a result I have probably missed more mailing days this month than I have in the past.  Thankfully I am all moved now so I should have a lot more time to focus on safelist advertising this month.

On to the stats…

If you’re new here I will explain how this works.  During the past month I used about 40 different safelists to promote splash pages for my own Mister Safelist.  The number of “Signups” reflects how many people have joined my site and completed the sign-up process.  These sign-ups all come from using the credit mailer on the safelists and do not include traffic that came from banner ads, text ads, etc.  I do have upgraded memberships at many of these sites and I do spend time every day clicking emails for credits to send my ads to as many people as possible.  Also I don’t include my own Mister Safelist in my testing because the results would be so good that it would make all of the other mailers look bad. lol.

The Best Safelists for January 2019

Happy New Year!

It’s always interesting at this time of the year to look back and see how things have changed in the industry over the last year… even though it may not be that easy to do.  I have my own stats that I can look back to but that’s just a reflection of how safelists have been performing for me.  For me it seems like things have slipped a bit.  I didn’t join as many new mailers, I haven’t felt a lot of excitement from other members, and my own ads which admittedly are probably getting a little stale aren’t performing quite as well as they were at this time last year.

But then today I get a message from a customer that helps to renew my faith.  He says “I just started experiencing success with safelists.  I got three monthly memberships sold and one annual membership sold in the last 4 days.   I’m sure most, if not all, was from MisterSafelist! So, now my belief in safelists is going up.”

That’s fantastic!  I think it also says a lot to emphasis how important it is to focus on what you are promoting rather than just where you are promoting it.  While I think the stats I am sharing below are good they would probably be a lot better if I were promoting something that was in greater demand.  There’s definitely money out there in safelist land to be made, you just need to find the right offer and promote it like crazy!

Here’s my stats from last month…

I typically use anywhere from 40-50 safelists throughout the month.  Obviously I don’t use every mailer out there and I am constantly weeding out ones that do not perform well for me. I am currently using these sites to promote splash pages for my own Mister Safelist. The number of signups received is how many people have joined my site and confirmed their email address through the pages I am advertising. I am upgraded at many of these sites and do spend time every day reading emails to earn enough credits to send my ads. Note that my own Mister Safelist does not appear in these stats because that wouldn’t make any sense.

Happy December!

I hope everyone picked up some good Black Friday deals last week.  It was good to see so many sites participating in the annual tradition.  I know activity was high last month at Mister Safelist.  I imagine most of the top safelists out there did just well.

Not a lot of news to report this month so I will just jump right into the stats…

As usual these stats are gathered from the 30-40 different safelists and mailers that I use to promote my ads every month.  I am currently promoting three different splash pages for Mister Safelist which does not appear in the stats below for hopefully obvious reasons.  While I do have upgraded memberships at many of these safelists I also spend a lot of time every month reading ads to earn enough credits to send my own emails as often as possible.  The stats below were acquired using only the credit mailers on the safelists and do not include sign-ups from banner ads or login ads.  The “sign-ups” represent the number of people who have clicked on my splash page and then registered and verified their membership at Mister Safelist.  These stats are provided only to show what is currently working best for me and my ads.  Your results my vary.

The Best Safelists for November 2018

Welcome to November!

Maybe it’s just me but lately it feels like activity has been up all across the board.  While it seems like traffic exchange have taken a big hit over the last year safelists and viral mailers only seem to be growing as more and more people are discovering how effective they can be.  What do you guys think?

While the number of new mailer launches is way down from what it used to be there was a very notable launch last month that is worth pointing out.  From Kenny and Sammy Kolijn comes List Mailer Plus.  While it’s probably too early to tell how well it will perform long term right now activity at List Mailer Plus is pretty outstanding with all of my mailing getting 100+ visitors each.  If you haven’t checked it out yet it’s definitely worth joining.

On to the stats…

My numbers are a little light this month.  For one my tracker went down for a few days, I missed stats for the first two days of the month, and I did a little more traveling without my laptop so I missed a few days of mailings.  Still, the number of sign-ups I brought in were roughly the same as last month so I can’t really complain.
