The Best Safelists for August 2013

Happy August!

Another month and another bunch of mailer stats.

I joined a bunch of new mailers last month. Well, not really a bunch and not really new. I noticed there were a few mailers in List Hoopla that I had not joined before.  I joined Email Traffic List, Click or Return Email Wiz, Social Viral Mailer, and Majestic Money Mailer.  You can check the stats below but so far out of the bunch Email Traffic List appears to be the most effective which aligns with their #3 rank on List Hoopla.

A topic came up on Facebook recently regarding which works better in safelists: splash pages or sales pages.  The consensus was that sales pages work better.  I decided to test it out last month with my own pages.  I rotated 1 splash page for Mister Safelist and the Mister Safelist homepage.  Unfortunately, I didn’t save the stats (sorry).  But the splash page slightly out performed the home page.   It was close though.  My advice is to test it for yourself and see what works best for you.

Stats time!

Here’s how it works.  Every day I submit my ads to 40+ safelists and viral list builders promoting my own Mister Safelist website.  Yes, I am upgraded in most of these sites and spend time every day clicking for credits that allow me to send my ads to as many people as I can as often as I can.  These are my personal stats and are provided only to show what is working best for me.  Your results may vary.

The Best Safelists for May 2013

Welcome to another fun filled month of tracking safelists and viral list builder stats.

Hooray!

I like to start with a little bit of news before getting to the stats and the big news from last month was the relaunch of List Adventure.  The old List Adventure has been chugging along for the past few years bringing decent results but it was… boring.  The new List Adventure is now owned by Jon Nastor and Bill Maloney who are well known for creating some of the most active mailers on the planet.  List Adventure has an all new design, some nice social branding features, activity rewards, and even their own version of badges.  It’s a lot of fun and the results have been great!

On to the stats!

Here’s how it works.  Every day (or as often as they will let me) I send out ads to 40+ safelists and viral list builders promoting splash pages for my own Mister Safelist.  No, you won’t see stats for Mister Safelist below but I hear it’s pretty good.  Yes, I am upgraded at most of the mailers and spend time every day reading emails to earn enough credits to let me send my ads to the maximum number of people.  The stats are the result of my own efforts.  Your results may vary.

The Best Safelists for April 2013

Hello and welcome to April!

I know. I’m late. I had been under the weather for the past few days but now I am back and ready to share my monthly safelist and viral list builder stats to show which mailers are currently bringing me the best results.

But first, the news…

Wait, there is no news! After all of the big launches in February it seems that March was a pretty quiet month.  I guess once in awhile it’s nice to simply focus on the sites we have now instead of constantly pushing the next big launch.

So let’s get to the stats.

Here’s how it works. Every day I submit my ads to 40+ safelists and viral list builders (or to as many as I can submit to on any given day). I am promoting a series of splash pages that promote my own Mister Safelist website.  Note, you won’t see Mister Safelist in the stats below… but I hear it’s still worth joining.  I do have upgraded memberships at most of the safelists and viral list builders that I use which usually allows me to send my ads to more people and more often.  I also spend time every day reading emails to earn enough credits to send my ads to the maximum number of people.  Your results may vary.

List Adventure 1181 21.00% 5 0.42%
European Safelist 1180 16.00% 5 0.42%

Total sign-ups (including those not shown here): 236

Despite the massive launch of List Nerds somehow Adchiever manages to hang on to the #1 spot.  Go Darren!  Puffin Mailer was the other big launch from February and manages to hold it’s own quite nicely as well.

Keep in mind that these stats are only provided to show what is currently working best for me and are the result of my own marketing efforts.  What works best for you might be something entirely different.  The only way to find out what works best for you is to track your own results.  You can get the same link tracker that I use by visiting trck.me.

The Best Safelists for March 2013

It’s March!

It’s been a little bit quiet in the safelist/vlb community over the last few months but not any more.  There were quite a few big launches last month that promise to bring in a lot of new members for us to advertise to.

Clearly the biggest launch last month was List Nerds from the guys at TimTech.  If you don’t know who TimTech is you’ve probably never surfed a traffic exchange.  These guys are arguably the leaders of the TE industry and are responsible for sites like trck.me, AdKreator, Click Track Profit, I Love Hits, StartXchange, and Sweeva (to name a few).  After years of telling them how good safelists and viral list builders are they have finally taken the plunge by launching their own viral list builder.  It’s awesome!  List Nerds was built from the ground up and includes a lot of new features not seen in any other mailers.  The best part about List Nerds is that it’s not a “launch it and forget it” site.  TimTech has the resources to bring in thousands of new members and promises to be active for many years to come.  If you haven’t done it yet definitely join List Nerds and start building your downline now.

Some of the other big launches last month were Puffin Mailer from Dan Moses (4x4Hits), 100PercentMailer from Matthew Graves (TopTierMailer), and Fugitive Traffic Mailer from Jeff Parker (Traffic Fugitive).  All of these mailers are presented by very experienced owners and offer unique twists to make them stand out.  They are all worth joining if for any other reason than to take advantage of all of their recent activity.

Enough about those guys.  Let’s get to my stats…

Here’s how it works.  I am active in 40+ safelists and viral list builders.  I send my ads every day (or as often as they will let me) which promote my own Mister Safelist splash pages.  I am upgraded in most of these sites and spend time every day reading enough emails which allow me to send my ads to the most number of people.  Your results my vary.

Mister Safelist is not included here because it’s my own site and it wouldn’t make sense for me to promote it there.

List Nerds didn’t make the cut because it just launched a few days ago.  When you consider that the 1 email I sent this week got me 3 new sign-ups it’s safe to say that List Nerds should be near the top of the list next month.

Remember this list is the result of my own marketing efforts and is provided only to show what is currently working best for me.  What works best for you might be something entirely different.  The only way to find out which sites work best for you is to track your own results.  You can get the same link tracker that I use from trck.me.
