The Best Safelists for September 2013

Welcome back!

I was just digging through the archives of my blog and discovered that I have been sharing my safelist stats here every month since August 2009.

That’s 4 whole years!

That should tell you that one of the keys to success with safelists and viral list builders is consistency!  Sending the occasional ad to one or two safelists every few days isn’t enough.  You need to make your advertising part of your daily routine to keep your ads in front of as many people as possible for as long as possible.  Yes, it takes a lot of effort but the results can be worth it.

Also, make sure you are always using the best safelists!  Look for the admins who are constantly out there driving traffic to their site to bring in new members for you to advertise you.  That’s where the action is and that is where you want to be.

What sites are working best for me?

Last month I tested 40+ safelists and viral list builders while promoting my own site Mister Safelist. I spend time every day clicking email ads for credits and have upgraded memberships at most of the sites which usually allows me to send my ads to more people more often.

Here’s my stats from August 2013:

The Best Safelists for May 2013

Welcome to another fun filled month of tracking safelists and viral list builder stats.

Hooray!

I like to start with a little bit of news before getting to the stats and the big news from last month was the relaunch of List Adventure.  The old List Adventure has been chugging along for the past few years bringing decent results but it was… boring.  The new List Adventure is now owned by Jon Nastor and Bill Maloney who are well known for creating some of the most active mailers on the planet.  List Adventure has an all new design, some nice social branding features, activity rewards, and even their own version of badges.  It’s a lot of fun and the results have been great!

On to the stats!

Here’s how it works.  Every day (or as often as they will let me) I send out ads to 40+ safelists and viral list builders promoting splash pages for my own Mister Safelist.  No, you won’t see stats for Mister Safelist below but I hear it’s pretty good.  Yes, I am upgraded at most of the mailers and spend time every day reading emails to earn enough credits to let me send my ads to the maximum number of people.  The stats are the result of my own efforts.  Your results may vary.

Max Mailer Pro 5284 29.00% 12 0.23%

State of the Art Mailer 2241 46.00% 7 0.31%
AdTactics 1030 32.00% 7 0.68%
Elite Safelist 2581 36.00% 6 0.23%

List Jumper 1922 52.00% 5 0.26%
Email-Hog 1577 53.00% 5 0.32%

Total April sign-ups (including mailers not shown here): 172

Keep in mind that the stats above are only provided to show what is working best for me.  What works best for you might be something entirely the different.  The only want to find out is to use a link tracker.  You can get the same link tracker that I use from trck.me.

The Best Safelists for April 2013

Hello and welcome to April!

I know. I’m late. I had been under the weather for the past few days but now I am back and ready to share my monthly safelist and viral list builder stats to show which mailers are currently bringing me the best results.

But first, the news…

Wait, there is no news! After all of the big launches in February it seems that March was a pretty quiet month.  I guess once in awhile it’s nice to simply focus on the sites we have now instead of constantly pushing the next big launch.

So let’s get to the stats.

Here’s how it works. Every day I submit my ads to 40+ safelists and viral list builders (or to as many as I can submit to on any given day). I am promoting a series of splash pages that promote my own Mister Safelist website.  Note, you won’t see Mister Safelist in the stats below… but I hear it’s still worth joining.  I do have upgraded memberships at most of the safelists and viral list builders that I use which usually allows me to send my ads to more people and more often.  I also spend time every day reading emails to earn enough credits to send my ads to the maximum number of people.  Your results may vary.

Hits Unique Signups Ratio
Adchiever 3842 23.00% 26 0.68%
List Nerds 3596 37.00% 23 0.64%
Puffin Mailer 4015 18.00% 23 0.57%
Viral List Builder Plus 3387 17.00% 12 0.35%
List Jumper 2352 24.00% 11 0.47%
State of the Art Mailer 2737 23.00% 11 0.40%
100 Percent Mailer 3566 27.00% 11 0.31%
Max Mailer Pro 5298 14.00% 11 0.21%
List Joe 946 31.00% 10 1.06%
Viral Nugget 2346 20.00% 9 0.38%
Bweeble 2303 29.00% 8 0.35%
Elite Safelist 2727 13.00% 8 0.29%
Fast Cash Mailer 752 21.00% 6 0.80%
Viral Cash Mailer 1461 10.00% 6 0.41%
List Adventure 1181 21.00% 5 0.42%
European Safelist 1180 16.00% 5 0.42%

Total sign-ups (including those not shown here): 236

Despite the massive launch of List Nerds somehow Adchiever manages to hang on to the #1 spot.  Go Darren!  Puffin Mailer was the other big launch from February and manages to hold it’s own quite nicely as well.

Keep in mind that these stats are only provided to show what is currently working best for me and are the result of my own marketing efforts.  What works best for you might be something entirely different.  The only way to find out what works best for you is to track your own results.  You can get the same link tracker that I use by visiting trck.me.

The Best Safelists for November 2011

Hello and welcome to November!

It’s a new month and that means it’s time to dig out my safelist and viral list builder advertising stats from last months and share with you what sites are currently bringing me the best results.

But first… the news!

The biggest launch from last month was the new release of a unique viral list builder from my good friend John Bell.  It’s called Viral List Builder Plus.  I don’t have any stats to share yet but so far I am really enjoying this site.  One of the unique features displays the open rate of all emails sent through the site.  Members are receiving between 17% and 20% open rate for all emails sent through the system.  Not bad.  I will definitely keep working this one and share my stats with you next month.

Now for the stats.

If you’ve never been here before this is how it works.  Every month I promote a series of lead capture pages for my ebook Safelist Marketing Tactics on 30-40 different safelists and viral list builders.  I try to view as many emails from other members as I can to earn enough credits to send my emails as often as possible.  I use a free link tracker to find out how my hits my pages received from each site as well as how many new subscribers I received.  I do have upgraded memberships at most of these sites which usually allows me to send my ads more often.  My ads are also very targeted to other safelist and viral list builder members which help to increase my results.  Your results my vary.

Hits Unique Signups Ratio
List Bonus 1355 82.00% 19 1.40%
The Lead Magnet 1174 61.00% 17 1.49%
State of the Art Mailer 4130 77.00% 14 0.39%

Adchiever 1704 69.00% 11 0.65%
Viral URL 34 81.00% 10 29.41%
AdsolutionLine 2734 42.00% 9 0.33%
Elite Safelist 2612 38.00% 9 0.34%
Ultimate Profit List 1048 73.00% 9 0.86%
Instant List Empire 340 66.00% 8 2.35%
List Joe 1576 75.00% 8 0.51%
Quick List Profits 505 64.00% 8 1.58%
List Effects 355 61.00% 7 1.97%
Adtactics 1788 40.00% 6 0.34%
Global Safelist 1411 38.00% 5 0.35%

Not a bad month.  The top 3 sites continue to dominate as they have for the past few months.  I love seeing List Adventure in the Top 5.  So many VLBs have come and gone over the last year that it’s great to see this site still competing so well.  If you are not yet a member of any of these I highly recommend joining now.

That’s it for this month.  I will be keeping a close eye on Viral List Builder Plus over the next few weeks and hopefully have some good stats to share with you next month.

Keep in mind that these stats are the result of my own marketing efforts and may not match your own.  These are only provided as a guide to show you what is currently working best for me.  What works best for you might be something entirely different but you will never know unless you are tracking your ads.  You can get the same free link tracker that I use when you join TE Toolbox.

The Best Safelists for September 2010

What?  September already?

Somehow we managed to survive the blistering summer heat here in the midwest.  If you believe in the summer slow down then now is the time to start promoting again because the busy season is about to begin.

So what’s new in safelists?  Not a whole lot.

I did join Quality Safelist which is the new safelist from Michael Coursey that launched about 2 months ago.  The results have been decent but i’m not blown away.  There’s only about 2,200 members right now though so hopefully it will continue to improve as the membership grows.  Mike has been in this business for a long time though so you can bet Quality Safelist will be around for awhile.

I am being told that there is a new viral list builder getting ready to launch tomorrow.  I can’t say anything else about it right now.  You’ll just have to check back here tomorrow after it launches.

Ok, let’s get to the stats!

These stats were obtained by promoting my rotating splash pages for Safelist Marketing Tactics on all of the top credit safelists and viral list builders.  I had been promoting the same two splash pages for awhile but I just added a 3rd new splash page about a week ago.  I’m not sure if the new page is converting as well as the others but overall the results this month have been pretty good.

Total Clicks Unique Clicks Action Sales CTA CTS
List Joe 1,855 1,314 60 17 4.57% 1.29%
State of Art Mailer 4,239 2,109 122 16 5.87% 0.76%
AdTactics 2,897 1,029 81 11 7.87% 1.07%
Adsolutionline 2,392 915 40 9 4.37% 0.98%
List Auction 1,180 626 32 9 5.11% 1.44%
List Zillion 1,386 735 42 8 5.71% 1.09%
Elite Safelist 2,190 993 36 8 3.63% 0.81%
List Effects 973 611 30 6 4.91% 0.98%
Quality Safelist 525 379 27 6 7.12% 1.58%

“Clicks” is how many people viewed my splash page.  “Action” is how many people clicked the link on my splash page to go to the main site.  “Sales” is how many people joined my site.  CTA and CTS are “clicks to action” and “clicks to sale”.  I ranked these safelists by sales but it is also important to look at the other numbers to determine how responsive each safelist really is.

Looking at the stats.. List Joe is back on top!  Even though State of the Art Mailing System brought me a lot more traffic I think List Joe got a nice little bump this month because they have been offering random credit multipliers for every email read.  I’ve been earning as much as 50 credits per email which is pretty nuts but worth taking advantage of while it lasts.

As you can see Quality Safelist just managed to creep it’s way onto the list.  While it didn’t generate a lot of new sign-ups from me you can see by the numbers that even though the membership base at Quality Safelist is still relatively low they are definitely some active members there.

That’s about it for this update.  Keep your eyes peeled tomorrow for the new viral list builder that is getting ready to launch!

And of course, don’t forget that the stats above are my only personal stats.  Your results may vary.  The important thing to remember is that you will never know how good your ads or advertising sources are unless you track your ads!  You can get your own free link tracker from from TE Toolbox.
