As the weather begins to change it’s nice to see things finally start picking up again in the safelist world.
Mister Safelist celebrated it’s 3 year anniversary last month. To be honest it feels like it has been around a lot longer than that. I am happy to say that activity at Mister Safelist is as high as it has ever been and the plan is to keep making it better. I just want to say thank you to everyone who has helped it come this far.
The big launch last month was List Unlocked from Kenny Kolijn and his brother Sammy. The activity here is still super high with this one and while I don’t have a full month of data to share the traffic I have received so far has been excellent. If you haven’t joined yet List Unlocked is well worth checking out.
Here are my safelist stats from last month…
The stats below come from the 40-50 safelists and viral list mailers that I use every day to promote my ebook Safelist Marketing Tactics. I use these safelists to advertise squeeze pages. “Signups” are people who have chosen to opt-in to my list and have confirmed their email address. While there are many other safelists out there these are the ones I use. These stats are provided only to show what is currently working best for me.
Total September Signups: 90
* Stats tracked from List Unlocked did not start until Sept 10.
That’s all for this month.
Keep in mind that the stats above were generated using my own ads and are the result of my own marketing efforts. I am upgraded at most of these sites and spend time almost every day reading emails to earn credits. What works best for you might be something entirely different. The only way to know for sure is to track your own ads. You can get the same link tracking tools that I use from trck.me.
The start of September is always a little sad for me as it means the end of summer. However it also means the start of the busy season for online business. That’s great because according to my stats (and my stats from last year) summer is one of the slowest times of year for me.
Again, no major news to announce last month but there are a few new mailers set to launch very soon which should make some big waves. Keep your eyes peeled for those.
Here’s my stats from last month.
The way this works is that I use about 40-50 different safelists and mailers to promote squeeze pages for my ebook Safelist Marketing Tactics. I track the number of new subscribers received from each of the mailers below. These signups all come from using the “credit mailer” on the site and do not include banner ads or login ads. I am upgraded at many of these sites and spend time every day reading emails to earn credits. Due to time constraints I don’t test every safelist in existence and many mailers are rotated in and out depending on how effective they are at any given time. My own Mister Safelist is not included in this list but it should always be assumed that Mister Safelist is awesome.
Total August Subscribers: 65
Top rankings are virtually the same as last month but with fewer subscribers across the board. That’s not good. Hopefully things will pick up with the start of this new season.
As always these stats are the result of my own marketing efforts and show what is currently working best for me. What works best for you might be something totally different. The best way to know which advertising sites work best for you is to track your own ads. You can get the same link tracking tools that I use when you join trck.me.
Another month and another bunch of safelist stats.
For those who may be wondering List Viral was sold to the guys at TimTech. For the moment the site is redirecting to List Nerds (also a TimTech site) while they redesign the site to make into something completely different. I have been assured that if you were a member of the old List Viral all of your downlines will be intact when the site relaunches.
Elite Safelist also had some down time last month while the site was updated to run on a new script. I always thought the old script was fine but it looks like the effort as paid off as Elite Safelist now seems to be more responsive than it has been in awhile.
And now for the good stuff…
The stats below were gathering during the month of July from using 40-50 different safelists and viral list builders. I generated these stats by advertising a squeeze page promoting my Safelist Marketing Tactics ebook. The number of “Signups” reflects the number of people who subscribed to my mailing list from each of the safelists listed below. These stats show only the number of new subscribers received by using the “credit mailer” and do not include and banner or login ads. I like to point out that I am upgraded at most of these sites and spend a lot of time reading emails to earn enough credits to send my ads.
Total July Signups: 82
As usual the stats above are the results of my own marketing efforts and are provided to show was is currently working best for me with my ads. What works best for you might be something entirely different. The only way to know which mailers provide the best results for you is to track your own ads. You can get the same link tracking service that I use when you sign-up for trck.me.
The summer slow down is officially upon us.
Instead of slowing down your advertising now is the time to step it up! Get your ads out there every day and do all of the things your competition isn’t willing to do.
Of course safelist marketing is a great way to do that.
Here is my list of the best safelists and viral list building going into July 2015 based on my stats from the last 30 days.
For the record I use between 40-50 different safelists and viral list builders. I use them to promote squeeze pages promoting my ebook Safelist Marketing Tactics. The stats below show how many new subscribers have been added to my list as a direct result of promoting my squeeze pages in these mailers. These stats do not reflect banner/text/login ads. They are only from using the credit mailer. I do have upgraded memberships at many of these sites and I do spend time every day reading emails to earn credits. I do not include my own Mister Safelist in this list but if I did it would probably be #1 (lol).
Here we go…
Total June Subscribers: 73
Please note that the stats above are provided only to show what is working best for me. What works best for you might be something entirely different. The only way to know what sites work best for you is to track your own ads. You can get the same link tracker that I use by signing up for trck.me.
Welcome to June!
Not a whole lot of news to report from last month so let’s jump right into the stats.
I am currently using all of my daily safelist mailings to promote my squeeze pages which build my list by giving away free copies of my book Safelist Marketing Tactics. I recently switched back to list building instead of promoting my own Mister Safelist and the results have been fantastic. These stats are generated from using only the credit mailers and do not include login ads or banners ads or anything like that. I should point out that I am upgraded at most of these sites and spend time every day reading emails to earn credits. I provide these stats only to show what is currently working best for me. Your results may vary.
Total May Signups: 98
Not too much has changed since last month other than SOTAM is back at the top where it belongs.
This makes me wonder why can’t all safelists be as good as European Safelist and SOTAM. Wow!
That’s all for now. As always which safelists work best for me might not be the ones that work best for you. If you want to know which safelists and viral list builders work best for you then you need to be tracking your own ads. You can get the same link tracker that I use along with a free 30-day trial when you join trck.me.
That means I finally have some awesome stats to share with you (well, more awesome that usual).
So last month I relaunched my very popular Safelist Marketing Tactics ebook. Partially because it was really outdated but also because I really wanted to get back into list building which is what I believe is the best use for safelists.
I now have a full month of safelist stats generated completely from list building.
Which are the best safelists for list building? Let’s find out…
The stats below were compiled from promoting 3 different squeeze pages for Safelist Marketing Tactics at 40-50 different safelists. I used a rotator to cycle through different squeeze pages to see which ones would work best. I am upgraded at most of these safelists and I do spend time every day reading enough emails to send my ads to as many people as possible. These stats are provided only to show what is working best for me. Your experience may vary.
Total April Subscribers: 110
In previous months I was advertising my own Mister Safelist and was averaging 40-50 sign-ups a month. With a 110 new subscribers added to my list last month just from using safelists you can see that list building is definitely the way to go. Has this hurt my sign-ups to Mister Safelist? Not really. The number of new sign-ups last month stayed about the same. This could be attributed to the fact that everyone joining my list is at some point going to be introduced to Mister Safelist through my emails.
As for the safelists themselves… I think European Safelist has more than secured it’s spot as my top safelist. I don’t know what they are doing over there but I hope they never stop.
The other rankings haven’t changed too much other than bringing me in more subscribers than sign-ups. A few had even dropped a bit over the last few months but are back now that I am list building again.
With all these new stats I have a lot more data to help me choose which safelists I want to keep and which ones I want to drop for next month. I may even pull out some of the safelists that I previously dropped to see if they preform better now with my squeeze pages.
And that’s it!
As usual don’t forget that what is working best for me might not be the best thing for you. The only way to know for sure is to track your own stats. You can get the same link track that I use along with a free 30-day trial when you sign-up at trck.me.
Happy April Fool’s Day!
No jokes today. Instead I am going to be very serious.
Safelist Marketing Tactics is back! Hooray! (ok, not too serious).
I first wrote Safelist Marketing Tactics way back in 2009 long before I owned Mister Safelist and even before I started sharing my safelist stats. The website has has over 17,000 members and who knows how many thousand more have downloaded it without registering. I think it’s safe to say it has become one of the most popular guides to safelist marketing and I have very happy to still be offer to people for free.
With the return of Safelist Marketing Tactics I am going to be making a big change to the way I track my stats here on my blog. Instead of tracking the number of sign-ups I receive at Mister Safelist I am going to switch back to building my list with Safelist Marketing Tactics. That means I won’t be promoting Mister Safelist as much in safelists and instead will be promoting it on the back end through the book and in other ways. I will still be buying a lot of paid ads for Mister Safelist but most of my safelist emails will be dedicated to promoting Safelist Marketing Tactics.
That means if you want to start promoting Mister Safelist now would be a good time (wink).
Ok, let’s get to this month’s stats.
The stats below are some of the results from my marketing efforts during the previous month. I’m currently using 40-50 different safelists and viral list mailers to promote my own Mister Safelist. I do have upgraded memberships at most of these sites which often allow me to send my ads more often and to more people than free members. I track the number of people who sign-up to Mister Safelist through the splash pages I advertise in these safelists. I provide these stats only to show what is currently working best for me.
Total March Sign-ups: 44
Slightly better than last month but next month should be completely different. I started promoting my squeeze pages again last night for Safelist Marketing Tactics and the sign-ups are already coming in. This should give us a lot more data to see which mailers are best for building a list which is what everyone should be doing anyways.
That’s it for this month. As usual these stats are the result of my own marketing efforts for the pages I am promoting. To find out what safelists work best for you it is important to track your own ads. You can get the same link tracker I use with a 30-day free trial from trck.me.
Welcome back to my blog where every month I share some of my advertising stats and post about what is new is the world of safelists and viral list builders.
The biggest launch last month was DownlineMaxx from Darren Olander and Troy Wray. DownlineMaxx is a downline builder that features many of the top safelists. What makes DownlineMaxx so special is the unique downline marketplace that lets you buy/rent program slots in other people’s downlines. Don’t want to join a program in the downline builder? You can always sell/rent out your unwanted slots to other members. It’s very cool! There is also a built in mailer so even if you are not interested in the downline builder you can still use it just like any other safelist.
Now lets get to the stats…
I am currently promoting my own Mister Safelist to over 40+ different safelists and viral list builders. I do have upgraded memberships at many of these sites which allows me to send my ads more often. I also spend time every day reading emails to earn enough credits to send my ads to the maximum amount of people. These stats are provided only to show what is currently working best for me.
Total February sign-ups from safelists: 39
European Safelist continues to rock and I still don’t know why. I am not complaining though.
Overall numbers are still a down a bit so I think next month I am going to switch back to list building. I was hoping to get that started today but I still have some work to do before I can make the switch.
Please remember that these stats are merely a reflection of my own advertising efforts for what I am promoting. What works best for you might be something entirely different. The only way to figure out what works best for you is to track your own ads. You can get a free 30-day trial of the same link tracker I use from trck.me.
It’s February and time again to talk a little about what’s been happening in the world of safelists and viral list builders.
A few new mailers launched last month that are worth mentioning.
The first is Purple Vault Mailer. Launched by Sarah Louise with the support of Steve Ayling Purple Vault Mailer features a unique game that encourages members to open emails in an attempt to open the “Purple Vault”. I have only been using this one for a little while but so far the results have been good.
The second new mailer is Punch Card Mailer from Marcy McManaway. Marcy is the author of Simple Mail Builder which is great ebook on safelist marketing. Needless to say Marcy knows a thing or two about safelists so I am excited to see what she does with Punch Card Mailer.
I am also happy to announce that my own Mister Safelist has recently passed 5,000 active members! This is a big deal for me because having 5,000 active members was a goal of mine way back when I first launched the site. With the number of people who come and go it’s exciting to see the site still maintaining a positive growth after all this time. So, yay me!
Ok, let’s get to this month’s stats.
The way these stats work is that I submit to 40-50 different safelists as often as I can throughout the month. I am promoting splash pages for my own Mister Safelist and keep track of how many verified sign-ups I receive from my mailings. I am upgraded at most of these mailers which allows me to send my ads more often and reach more people. I also spend time every day reading emails to earn enough credits to reach as many people as possible. I don’t count the sign-ups that come from banner ads or login ads or anything like that. These stats are all just from using the credit mailer.
Total January sign-ups from safelists: 44
Go European Safelist! Once again solidly topping off the list.
That’s all for this month. As usual I like to point out that these stats are only provided to show what is working best for me with the ads I am promoting. What works best for you might be something different but these sites should be a good place to start. The best advice to find out what works best to you is to track your own links. You can get the same link track that I use from trck.me.
Keeping it short this month.
Nothing new to report.
Below you will find my top safelist advertising stats for last month. I am using these mailers to promote my own Mister Safelist. These stats are only provided to show what is currently working best for me. Depending on what you are promoting, how you are promoting, and how much time and money you put into your advertising your results may vary.
Total November sign-ups: 48
