Excuse Me, Do I Know You?

Author: Jerry Iannucci

So you are working hard putting your pages up on the Internet expecting people to know of your presence without doing any real promotion on your part? Are you serious?

Let’s face it… nobody knows who you are!

Uploading your finished web pages to the Internet is not the end of your job. It’s actually only the beginning. It’s sort of like graduating from school is not the end but the beginning of your journey out into the real world.

Unfortunately I see many marketers who think that the biggest challenges is learning html and creating their web pages. They rejoice when their site goes live but this is a great big mistake.

The best time to start celebrating is after you make your first sale.

If you are just getting started then don’t make the same mistake most marketers, including myself, made. I can only hope that if you are reading this article then you will possibly be a little wiser.

Since you running an Internet business you are going to need to communicate just like you would in any other business. You need to interact. You need to let people know you exist and that you are ready to do business.

I am sure you can see what I am getting at here. If you have not been making much progress in your early stages of your business this may be the reason why.

Here’s a few quick and easy ways to get to get yourself started and let people know you are open for business.

1. Submit your site to major search engines (Yahoo!, Google, MSN, etc.).

This should always be the first thing to do after you upload your web site. However, this is NOT the only way to attract targeted prospects.

2. Submit your site to web sites with high Page Rank.

Having your link submitted to directories, forums, and other related sites with a high PR value will result in increasing your site PR when Google bots crawl the pages on your web site.

3. Participate on message boards.

Join one or two message boards where your target audience is gathering. Interacting with other people in your field is a great way to get yourself known and to meet people who are interested in what you have to offer. Don’t post on the message board only with the intention of getting your link out there. You don’t want to be seen as someone who is only there to spam other members. Spend some time getting to know the rules and ways of the message board and it will pay off for you in the long run.

4. Submit articles to other websites.

There are quite a few sites that specialize in listing directories of articles. If you include a link to your website in your author’s resource box, publishing your articles on these sites is a great way to establish some links back to your site. You also stand a chance of having other sites and ezines including your article in their next publication.

With 4 easy ways to start you can promote your website without spending any money. It takes a little bit of work but the results beat not doing anything productive at all.

How To Make Money With JV Giveaways

Author: Jerry Iannucci

This past week I finally took a chance and joined one of those JV giveaway sites I have been seeing around for the last few years.

If you don’t know what a JV giveaway site is it is a website that is setup for a set amount of time where Internet marketers can give away free products while building their list at the same time.

Part of the reason why I have always avoided these sites is that they always looked so poorly designed. I guess this has to do with the fact that they only exist for a short period of time and I guess the design really doesn’t matter much if the script does what it’s supposed to do which is build your list.

The other problem I always had with JV giveaways is that the people who can refer the most members get their products listed first and get the most benefit. Now I don’t mind getting my hands dirty but there are just some people I don’t want to compete with. I suppose I could if I really tried but there are just way too many other sites I need to be promoting instead of worrying about every new JV giveaway that comes along.

JV giveaways are free though so I figured what the heck. I joined The Halloween Giveaway and sent two emails to my list. The first email was seeking contributors and the second was a few days later after the site launched for regular members.

The results? With only a few sign-ups I manged to get ranked 38 out of 121 members. That puts me right in the middle of page 4. Not great but not terrible either considering I got in really late.

So what does that mean? Well, even being way down on page 4 I still got over 20 new sign-ups to my list plus another dozen people who have downloaded my ebook which is filled with my affiliate links.

Very cool! Especially when you think about how little work I need to do to get those results.

So now I am looking ahead to the next big event. There are a few coming up in November but so far it looks like the biggest one is going to be the IM Dream Team JV giveaway.

The IM Dream Team JV giveaway is currently accepting contributors but doesn’t officially open the doors to the public until November 15.  That’s plenty of time to claim a good spot and start building your list with other JV contributors.

Considering how well the The Halloween Giveaway has been working I decided to grab an upgraded membership when I joined the IM Dream Team JV giveaway.  This automatically moves me ahead of the free members and also lets me upload my own one-time-offer page which will be shown to other members when they login into the site from now until the end of November.  Sweet!

Go free or go paid but if you want to build a huge list get in on the IM Dream Team JV giveaway now!  Click the image below to get started.

IM Dream Team

“Two heads are better than one.” How many times have you heard that old adage? What about, “Many hands make light work”? Have you heard that one? The essence of these two adages is that cooperation has an advantage and that advantage is often overlooked.

When it comes right down to it you can only accomplish so much work in an hour or a day or a week. Your output is limited to what only you can do alone. But if you add what you can do to what someone else can do then that output rises and more can be accomplished than either individual could accomplish alone. This is the basis of joint ventures in Internet marketing.

One person sitting behind their computer who has created a new and innovative product or service that they know could sell like hotcakes to the right market but who has little experience in marketing has only a product or service while an established Internet marketer is sitting behind their computer with a long and well tested list of potential customers but doesn’t have a product to offer them. By entering into a joint venture agreement both people can achieve what neither of them could do alone.

The process is called “leveraging” and it works for all parties involved in a joint venture agreement. The idea is to use your strongest assets in conjunction with someone else’s strongest assets to leverage a stronger Internet marketing advantage.

It isn’t hard to set up a joint venture agreement and it can produce overwhelming benefits for everyone involved.

I will be honest. Soren Jordansen’s Internet Marketing Success Formula pretty much floored me when I finally got a chance to read his free 41 page ebook.

Internet Marketing Success Formula is packed with information that Soren gathered from his own experiences as well as scientific surveys conducted on his blog of other internet marketers.

Soren’s surveys clearey show that the average Internet marketer is fairly new and wants to know how to make enough money on the Internet so that they can quit their job but they have no idea how to do this.

What is fantastic about Internet Marketing Success Formula is that Soren actually lays out a detailed step by step plan to help the average Internet marketer to acheive this.

Internet Marketing Success Formula was not just written for new Internet marketers though. Anybody who has been struggling to make money online will find this book to be an enormous asset.

When you think about it, Internet Marketing Success Formula is really just a down and dirty guide for setting up a complete Internet marketing business from scratch.

Soren covers everything from choosing a good web host, building an effective squeeze page, monetizing the entire list building process, how to create a profit pulling email series, and what affiliate programs work best for converting prospects into paying customers while creating creditability and trust.

Soren’s traffic generation system covers methods that generate tons of free traffic immediately and progresses through more advanced and tactics as well as how to use paid traffic sources to build your business faster.

Imho, what I think makes Soren’s book stand out above other money making guides is the real life examples that Soren gives for building his own business. He doesn’t waste your time by showing you how to create a fictional business. He shows you real life examples and exactly how it all works.

And the best part? Soren is allowing people to rebrand his ebook for an incredibly low price.

The techniques revealed in The Internet Marketing Success Formula could easily mean the difference between you becoming one of the few people making real money on the Internet or being one of the people who are going nowhere fast.

My advice would be to grab a copy of this free ebook and follow the steps exactly as they are laid out for you.

Mastering WordPress SEO

Author: Jerry Iannucci

When I first started blogging I didn’t know how to properly optimize my wordpress blog for search engines. I would usually just use the default setup and start writing without doing any kind of optimization. Of course my blogs never got the traffic I wanted and I always wondered why.

I used to Google some popular blogs and I could never figure out how they were getting so much traffic. I really wanted to know the secret for getting ranked high up in the search engines.

It took me awhile but I finally figured out that my blogs were not optimized anywhere close to how well some of those high traffic blogs were. They seemed to have a more complex linking structure, proper meta-tags, and many more pages for Google to index.

I wanted to be able to create a quality blog that would generate quality traffic to all of my sites so I could start making more money.

I started doing the research and experimented with quite a few WordPress plug-ins, designs, and special coding. Eventually my blog started getting more traffic and I am now starting to make money from my blog every month.

I think I finally cracked the WordPress code as I am now getting listed at the top of the search engines and I am getting the traffic I want. I figured out how to build my blog in a way that Google would index me much faster and my posts would start showing up shortly after I posted them. Since I have started doing this my traffic has gone up and my affiliate products have started producing more sales.

How To Setup Your First Blog

Author: Jerry Iannucci

It’s one thing to read over and over about the benefits of having a blog, case studies about how others have profited or built up heaps of traffic and huge mailing lists using blogs… but it’s another thing to finally take some action and finally do it yourself.

It’s really easy. First, decide what you’re going to blog about. Stock trading? Fishing? Relationship advice? Super-foods? Decide on that, decide on a title for your blog, then think about that blog’s keywords. What would somebody type in a search engine if they were going to find your blog?

Next, buy a domain name. Many web hosting companies will include a domain name as part of their service, but you should register it separately because you might want to move to a different web host later. You want a short domain name that ends in .com and is easy to remember and pronounce.

Then get web hosting. Do a web search for “web hosting wordpress” so you can be sure that your web host will install WordPress FOR you, if you don’t have the technical skills. After signup, they give you the exact instructions you need to go back to your domain name and point its nameservers to your web host, this will connect your .com name with the actual place your web site files are stored.

On your web site, install WordPress. Some hosts install it with one click. You might have to set it up yourself using’s “5 minute install” or pay someone (like your host) $10-$20 to do it.

Login to your WordPress Dashboard and choose a theme for your blog. There are only a few built-in, but they provide a link to browse hundreds of free themes that you can download. Don’t download every single theme, just choose one you like, download, unzip, and upload, then activate it.

Once all that’s done, look at the different plugins you have available to you. For starters, activate the plugin that defends against spam. You can always go back and add more later.

That’s it… now start blogging. After you have a couple of blog posts in the can, go back to the WordPress plugin directory and find some cool plugins to add a contact form, back up your blog, and more. For some great tutorials on how to use WordPress… CLICK HERE.

How To Price Your eBook

Author: Jerry Iannucci

So you have finally written your first ebook. Now you need to decide how much you are going to charge for it. Finding just the right price for your product is essential to your success. If you charge too little people will think it is low quality and won’t buy it… or you will have to sell hundreds of copies before you start to see any real profit. If you price your book too high you will find yourself having to lower your price to compete with your competition which can cause all sorts of problems down the road. Let’s say you start selling your book for $25 and then lower it down to $15. Don’t you think the people who paid $25 are going to be a little upset when they see the new price?

Coming up with the best price for your ebook is one of the most important parts of the ebook marketing process. The first rule of coming up with a price for your ebook is to never underprice it. Try to determine the highest price that your audience would be willing to pay and then you can always reduce the price if you notice it is not selling. Before you reduce the price make so you are promoting your ebook like crazy. Always try to start with a high price and then launch a massive advertising campaign and track the results.

Pricing an ebook can sometimes be a little tricky because ebooks are a fairly new commodity. The value is often confusing to the average person because ebooks are digital products and not everyone understands what digital products are. This means we must look at ebooks in an entirely different way to determine what they are actually worth.

Just for a moment, let’s look at the difference between ebooks and an actual printed book. The printed book is an object that you can actually hold in your hands and store on your shelf. Pricing factors include such things as paper stock, production costs, and the cost of the marketing.

The one thing that is similar between print books and ebooks is that they are both composed of ideas.

What do you think an idea is worth when compared to the price of paper and ink?

It is the IDEAS that are valuable! That is how you determine the cost of your ebook.

There are many different methods to determine the price of your ebook. Let’s first try to zero in on your ultimate goals.

First you should decide if your goal to get maximum exposure and wide distribution for your ebook. This goal is geared towards getting customers into your business or service, or for establishing credibility of your reputation. If this is going to be your main goal then you should try to keep your price on the low side. Sometimes authors will even price their ebooks at a loss of profit just to draw in a higher number of new customers. The key here is to try and maximize your profits while at the same time keeping in mind the number of books you want to sell.

This is a great strategy if you are looking to get long-term customers for your business. Long-term customers are much more likely buy from you again assuming your first book is a quality product.

However, if your ebook actually contains valuable content along with new information, techniques, or references then you should try to set your price a little more on the high end.

Once you have your goal figured out you must then figure out what your audience’s need is for your ebook. Does your ebook solve a specific problem that isn’t found somewhere else? If so you will be able to achieve more sales at a higher price. You just need to make sure that the problem your book addresses is important and relevant to your target audience. If you are presenting something new you will be able to sell your book for a higher price. Just be prepared for your competition to try and undercut you when they find out about it.

Keep in mind that this pricing is only temporary. You will eventually stop selling books at that high price. So try to plan out in advance how long you want to sell your ebook at that price. When that time is up it is time to change your pricing strategy.

If you are looking for large profits over customer draw then try to target an audience that is looking for easy solutions to their problems at a low price. If your book is aimed at solving a specific problem you can charge more than if you were planning something more general. It is better to start at the highest price your market can handle and then plan to bring the price of the book down several times over the next year.

A good way to figure out the price for your book is to send out a survey to your current customers. If these people have bought a book from you in the past feel free to ask them for their opinion on the price of your next book. You can do this by creating a sales page for your book that does not include a price. Instead, add some links to some survey questions aimed at assigning a price to your book.

Another way to test out prices is by creating a duplicate sales pages each containing different prices. Then figure out the conversion ratio between the visitors to your site and the number of sales for your book. This should give you the optimum price of your ebook.
